After gathering to a 3 hrs drive going to Guatape from Poblado, the centre market in Medellin, now we had stop for breakfast or snakc then after that we are heading directly to Guatape. You have to pay entrance fee of 20USD to get the ticket.Massive people or tourist are flock to see and hike the 707 steps going at the top of the hill.
Its really worth the hiking although your nose is in your mouth because of high elevated place and turning stairs with full of traffic because of the people. Then finally at 500 steps you can see the beautiful scenes of water and the hills over it with islands.
At the top where you can see are all the scenic nature which are very amazing. The winds will feel you as you begin to elevated yourself to the grandest views of little isolated islands. The top of it are shops which sells souvenirs and food and refreshments.
The opening hours is 6 am till close is 6 pm.Make sure bring sunblock and cash since there is no access much to ATM. Remember if you withraw cash there is a withrawal fee of 7,000 COP till 14,000 COP per transaction so bring cash as many as you can. The only bank with no withrawal fee is Banco Caja Social ( I called it blue bank). If you are in tour make sure ask as many questions as you wanted to know.
