Well after 4 days of staying airbnb and seeing the sights and city centre of Panama City there is really nothing special to do here except shopping for so many shops of clothes or dining or walking here me and my Swiss friend decided to rent a car to explore the other town or place north west of Panama
After going to the airport via Uber to pick up the booked car, I was surprise why uber in Panama he booked it tru local rental ACE because he got 25% discount . For 134$ for 12 days we got a scratch already Honda Civic 2017 model.
The rental operator had said that it is mandatory in Panama to get the insurance worth 35$/ day with damage deposit of 600$ within the timeframe of renting and if I have collision they will pay 2000$ for that.We get also the huawei router worth 5$/ day rental for our direction but google maps didn’t work out the way we thought and passes for toll for 10$
Driving in Panama is easy as it is not traffic if U will drive during out of peak hrs better than Colombia but you also very careful since taxis are everywhere and big panel and mixers are sharing the road it’s other private driver who are unsafe .Glad my Swiss friend had driving experience for longer that He had good driving skills than me .
After 3 hrs from Panama City we had arrive in hostel in Santiago. Nothing special here it’s just closer to the beach but also they had night life churches and many more .
